• About Built Right Home Inspection Services.

Our inspectors are certified members of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI), allowing us to provide the highest quality inspections in the area. Our reports comply with Ontario Standards and meet the standards of practice of the National Assocation of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI).

For most people, real estate is their biggest investment. For this reason, we encourage the buyer to be present during the inspection and to participate by asking questions of the inspector. In many cases, the client is unable to attend. We encourage the client to contact our office to arrange a telephone consultation.

What to Expect during a Built Right Home Inspection:

We begin our inspection on the exterior of the property. All exterior features of the property will be inspected: The foundation and infrastructure, decks & porches, roof, chimney, driveways, walkways, exterior cooling, electrical, and plumbing components, and drainage systems.

Next is the interior. We work through the building in a logical sequence, one room at a time and one floor at a time. All walls, celings, floors, doors, plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, appliances, ceiling fans, reporting on the presence of smoke detectors.

Once the detailed interior and exterior checks are completed, we perform a thorough evaluation of the plumbing, electrical, heating/cooling, ventilation, and insulation which takes us into the basement/crawl and attic areas for inspection.

With your inspection completed, we then prepare your report, and review any significant findings.

Report Transfer Inspection:

If you have received a Built Right Home Inspection report that was given to you by someone other than Built Right Home Inspection Sevice and the report is not in your name, Built Right Home Inspection Service assumes no liability relating to the report or the condition of the property.

However, Built Right Home Inspection Service can perform a Report Transfer Inspection, including a client review and issue a new report with a new inspection number in your name.
